Originally a limited edition release on the now defunct EMI subsidiary dance label New Religion, both the original and Carl Craig remixes of Kirk Degiorgio's "Nairobi" have long been in demand after being out-of-print for several years. Almost 10 years after it's creation, Nairobi is still a mainstay on the dancefloor's - kept alive by those DJ's who bagged a copy first time around. Testament to it's longevity is it's inclusion of Craig's remix on the latest DJ Hell mix CD for Get Physical - introducing it to an even wider audience than it's initial techno purist fan-base. Logical then for Degiorgio's ART label to re-acquire the rights for re-release this September. 3 Steps Ahead is still one of the most respected artist in de hardcore scene. Peter Paul Pigmans died from cancer on the 27th of august 2003 and is always in the memories of all his colleagues, friends and mostly his family. Over the past 7 years several artists remixed his work and showed there respect! The latest remix of the track In The Name of Love was done by Darkcore artist Negative A! Negative A is common for this pounding style and one of the recognized artist on the well respected DNA label who scored big hits like “White Fluids of DNA”, “Loops & Drinks”, “One Man Army” and his recent bomb “Be Positive” that was hidden on his last album “Modern Music Is Destroying Our Youth”. The remix is a fresh update of the original as Negative A refixed the tracks on the same tempo but with new kicks and the typical DNA hardcore sound!
